Davijaan, also known as CC-2237 and recognized by the callsign "Odd Ball," held the rank of Clone Commander. He was also a pilot during the Clone Wars, taking part in major engagements like the Battle of Teth, the Battle of Umbara, the Battle of Coruscant, and the Battle of Utapau. Renowned as a skilled pilot, Odd Ball piloted a variety of starfighters, including the V-19 Torrent starfighter, the BTL-B Y-wing starfighter/bomber, and the ARC-170. Frequently, throughout the Clone Wars, Odd Ball operated under the command of Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Originally designated CC-2237, this clone trooper later adopted the name Davijaan, but was better known as "Odd Ball." He was a human clone originating from Kamino, created using the genetic template of the bounty hunter Jango Fett. The codename "Odd Ball" eventually became his official callsign, and it was commonly used as his primary identifier as a clone trooper pilot. During his time on Kamino, Odd Ball underwent initial training within the pilot program.
Following the First Battle of Geonosis, which marked the beginning of the Clone Wars, Odd Ball, now promoted to Clone Commander and in charge of Clone Flight Squad Seven, was dispatched to a flight academy located on Coruscant, the Republic's capital planet, for further instruction. While there, Odd Ball acquired advanced techniques and strategies, which he then shared with the pilots under his leadership. As the squadron commander of Squad Seven, Odd Ball served under the authority of Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi, operating within the structure of his Open Circle Armada.

During the Republic's mission to rescue Jabba the Hutt's kidnapped son, Odd Ball was summoned to support the troops engaged in combat against Separatist Alliance forces during the Battle of Teth. Piloting a V-19 Torrent starfighter, he and Squad Seven joined Kenobi in battling incoming vulture droids. In the midst of the conflict, Odd Ball found himself pursued by vulture droids, expressing his inability to evade them. General Kenobi intervened, destroying the droids and rescuing Odd Ball. The clone pilot apologized for his panic, to which Kenobi reassured him that such situations were common.

Odd Ball took part in the Battle of Umbara from its outset, operating alongside the rest of Squad Seven. He and another bomber were dispatched as reinforcements, bombing a vulnerable enemy installation shortly after the last clone forces had evacuated the area.

While in the atmosphere above Cato Neimoidia, Odd Ball served as an escort for Jedi General Plo Koon. His unit, Clone Flight Squad Seven, was involved in the Battle of Cato Neimoidia.

During the Battle of Coruscant, Odd Ball commanded Clone Flight Squad Seven, leading them toward the Invisible Hand to support Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker. He instructed the squad's V-19 Torrent starfighters to take the lead, and this group successfully breached the ranks of droid tri-fighters. This action allowed the Jedi and the squad's ARC-170 starfighters to advance towards the Invisible Hand. After the Jedi landed in the ship's hangar, the squad eliminated high-priority targets and remained nearby to provide assistance if required, though he held little hope for the Jedi's survival.
After it was discovered that General Grievous, the leader of the Separatist Droid Army, was hiding on the planet Utapau, Kenobi and the 212th Attack Battalion were dispatched. Clone troopers engaged battle droids in intense combat, while Kenobi confronted Grievous, resulting in the cyborg's demise.
Subsequently, Order 66 was issued by Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine. At the time the order was given, Odd Ball was engaged in combat above Utapau as part of Obi-Wan's fleet. Odd Ball and the remaining members of Squad Seven on Utapau turned against the Utapau Skyforce, bringing the planet under control. He then coordinated Squad Seven to locate Kenobi, whose body had not been recovered after his reported death, directing ships to search the area surrounding Pau City.
Later, Odd Ball and his unit served the Galactic Empire.
CC-2237, a human male clone derived from the genetic material of Jango Fett, possessed brown [eyes](/article/eye] and stood at a height of 1.83 meters. Throughout the Clone Wars, he demonstrated exceptional piloting skills and displayed remorse towards Obi-Wan Kenobi when the Jedi offered assistance during the Battle of Teth.
Initially, during the Clone Wars, Odd Ball wore standard Phase I armor designed for all clone trooper pilots. As the war progressed, he transitioned to the Phase II version, which included a fully enclosed helmet and breathing apparatus. Later in the conflict, he adopted the more recent open-helmet design, which he wore during the Battle of Coruscant.
Temuera Morrison played CC-2237 in Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith. He also made appearances in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars film and television series, where Dee Bradley Baker provided his voice.
In Star Wars Helmet Collection 45, Odd Ball is initially identified as a Clone Commander, primarily in the first half of the magazine. However, in the second half, his rank is changed to Clone Captain. Because Star Wars: Complete Vehicles also refers to him as a Clone Commander, this article assumes that the rank of Clone Captain is incorrect.
