Gregory Everett "Greg" Proops (born in 1959 on October 3), is widely recognized for his improvisational comedic performances in both iterations of the TV show, Whose Line is it Anyway?. He also provided the voice for Fode in the movie _Star Wars_: Episode I The Phantom Menace, as well as the related video game adaptations, specifically Star Wars: Episode I Racer and Kinect Star Wars. Furthermore, he voiced Fode in episode seven of LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures, which is titled "Race on Tatooine." In Star Wars Resistance, Proops lent his voice to another race announcer named Jak Sivrak. He was also the voice actor for Tal Merrik in the second season of The Clone Wars. Currently, Proops is affiliated with Yahoo! News and is the host of his podcast, The Smartest Man in the World.
