Peet Sieben, a Mentor of the Jal Shey, was a philosopher present during the Clone Wars in 22 BBY. This individual was a member of the Jal Shey, an age-old group of Force-sensitive beings whose sole focus was the intellectual study of the Force. Sieben recognized the horrors of war, yet also recognized that it could reveal admirable characteristics in individuals. He expressed a desire for these qualities to arise without the necessity of such intense conflict.
Karen Traviss included Sieben in her novelization of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars film from 2008.
