Pentir Bephorin

Pentir Bephorin was the male offspring of Givin Drusil Bephorin, a mathematician and cryptographer. After Drusil was taken prisoner by the Galactic Empire and compelled into their service, she became separated from Pentir, who remained with his father and his other siblings. The Alliance to Restore the Republic came to the aid of Bephorin's family, ensuring their safety while rebel operatives Luke Skywalker and Nakari Kelen rescued Drusil from the planet Denon, the location of her imprisonment. Subsequently, the Alliance facilitated a reunion between Pentir and his family with Drusil on the distant world of Omereth. Skywalker and Kelen successfully transported Drusil to the designated meeting point, but they were ambushed by bounty hunters who were in search of the cryptographer. Kelen met his end during the ensuing conflict, but Skywalker prevailed against the hunters. Following this, a CR90 corvette, under the command of Major Bren Derlin, arrived with Pentir and the remainder of his family. Drusil warmly welcomed her husband and children, introducing them to Skywalker. Pentir attempted to pose a mathematical question to Skywalker, a customary Givin greeting. Drusil then told her son that such formalities were unnecessary. Afterward, she and her family departed in a starship seized from the bounty hunters, seeking a secure place to evade the Empire and continue their support for the Alliance.
