Nakari Kelen

Nakari Kelen was a human female who fought for the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the era of the Galactic Civil War. She was born on the arid desert planet named Pasher and was the daughter of Fayet Kelen, the proprietor of the Kelen Biolabs enterprise. Nakari, a skilled marksman with a slugthrower weapon, collaborated with Luke Skywalker on a crucial assignment for the Rebellion, and during this time, they began to develop romantic feelings for each other. Tragically, she met her death on Omereth when an explosion resulted in shrapnel piercing her body, leaving Skywalker to grieve over the unspoken emotions they shared.

Biography

Nakari Kelen's mother was condemned to the spice mines of Kessel, along with her bandmates from Hakko Drazlip and the Tootle Froots, as punishment for writing the seditious song titled "Vader's Many Prosthetic Parts." This sentence was personally decreed by Darth Vader, which fueled Kelen's animosity towards him and fostered her sympathy for the Rebel Alliance. Her father, Fayet Kelen, privately supported her actions, although he couldn't do so publicly due to his responsibilities in managing his business, Kelen Biolabs.

Not long after the Battle of Yavin, Kelen accompanied Lieutenant Luke Skywalker on several missions. The primary objective of these missions was to rescue the Givin Drusil Bephorin from the grasp of the Galactic Empire so that the Rebel Alliance could utilize her expertise in cryptography. Throughout the mission, their relationship blossomed into a romance, and Luke Skywalker confided in her about his ability to use the Force. Although the mission achieved its goals, Kelen tragically died in the line of duty, causing great sorrow for Skywalker, who not only harbored romantic feelings for her but had also grown to appreciate her companionship and admire her as an individual.

Personality and traits

Kelen possessed ambition and determination. She held a deep-seated resentment towards the Empire due to their treatment of her mother and also felt a strong sense of justice, believing it was crucial to challenge the Empire in any way possible. Despite her somewhat cynical outlook, she refused to let the Empire extinguish her spirit. She had a keen and genuine sense of humor and displayed a sincere enthusiasm for enjoying life whenever she could. She engaged in running jokes with Luke Skywalker and relished engaging in lively discussions with him. While she could exhibit occasional jealousy, it never devolved into pettiness. Luke Skywalker considered her to be a positive influence on him, as she didn't seem to have the overwhelming expectations of him that certain other individuals had displayed. She admitted to having a preconceived notion of him after hearing about the destruction of the Death Star, but was pleasantly surprised by the person she came to know. She deeply loved her father but sometimes found his behavior, such as referring to his employees as "minions," perplexing.
