"Vader's Many Prosthetic Parts" is a musical piece that was composed by the mother of Nakari Kelen and then sung by the musical act known as Hakko Drazlip and the Tootle Froots. This song, considered political in nature, ridiculed Darth Vader, an enigmatic character in the Galactic Empire. A mere handful of days following the song's initial debut, roughly a decade years prior to the Battle of Yavin, the Empire responded by dispatching the entire band to the spice mines located on Kessel, citing that "Lord Vader has no sense of humor" and banning the song. Given that the average lifespan for individuals sent to that location was a mere one to two years, it's almost a certainty that they had dead by the time Kelen recounted the song to Luke Skywalker, a song which he had previously encountered through illicit broadcasts.
