A Phase III clone trooper design for clone trooper armor was under consideration during the Clone Wars, but the idea was eventually scrapped. Later, with the emergence of the Galactic Empire, the Phase III helmet design was revived and used for the armor worn by the TK stormtroopers, who were the initial wave of recruited soldiers from Project War-Mantle.
