The star that circled the planet of Pijal, which itself was found within the Inner Rim, existed within the Pijal system and was linked to the Pijal Hyperspace Corridor hyperspace route. Approximately once per decade, solar flares erupted from the star, but the planet's shield systems defended against them.
The sun of Pijal was featured in Master & Apprentice, a novel penned by Claudia Gray and released in 2019.
