Pinnacle Keep

Pinnacle Keep alongside an Imperial patrol unit. The Imperial detention center known as Pinnacle Keep was situated on Gellefon. It was constructed inside a carved-out cliff, located far from the Kig Dannen Spaceport to maintain secrecy. Governor Schennt originally commissioned the facility for holding captured members of Aran Starfire's rebel group, the Gellefon Freedom Fighters; however, few members were ever taken alive. The security detachment consisted of 30 stormtroopers, 15 Imperial troopers, 4 Gellbeasts, and 4 probe droids.

Following their capture for the theft of the Death Star II's schematics, the Deep Ear were transported to the Pinnacle Keep facility. While Schennt believed that this was a great honor, the Emperor actually orchestrated this as a calculated move, anticipating that the Rebels would successfully extract the Bothans from the Keep. As the Emperor foresaw, a rebel force led by Jade and Borsk Fey'lya successfully liberated the Bothans, aided by the Freedom Fighters.
