Jade, known by the code name Watcher, was a Mikoan woman characterized by striking green eyes, lengthy black hair, and a body built for athletics. Her every movement exuded self-assurance, indicative of extensive training and skill. Though she served the Rebellion on at least one occasion, she saw herself as a rebel in spirit, but primarily operated as a mercenary. Once she committed to a contract, she invariably saw it through to its completion.
Jade was stationed on the planet of Gellefon at the time Deep Ear acquired the plans for the Death Star II, acting as the sole communication link between them and the Rebel Alliance. Upon learning the nature of the information she possessed, she immediately contacted Alliance High Command, requesting immediate extraction due to the agents' precarious situation and the impending Imperial conflict. Regrettably, the message arrived corrupted, leaving the Alliance unaware of the impending danger, resulting in the dispatch of only a small rebel contingent.
The rebels rendezvoused with Jade at the Ravaging Wardog Cantina, where the agreed-upon signal for contact involved ordering seven Green Galaxy beverages. To assess the rebels' combat prowess, Jade instigated a brawl, which the group swiftly quelled. Upon finally sitting down with the group, Borsk Fey'lya barged into the cantina and approached their table. He informed her that the operation had gone awry, with at least two dozen members of Deep Ear killed and the remaining captured and held within the Imperial detention center, Pinnacle Keep. Jade and the rebel group consented to assist him in liberating the captured Bothans.
While the team was performing reconnaissance on Pinnacle Keep, they encountered several members of the Gellefon Freedom Fighters riding atop Gellbeasts and successfully persuaded them to escort the group to Aran Starfire's clandestine base. There, Jade and Borsk coordinated a diversion with the Freedom Fighters to allow the rebel group to free the captured Bothans. Ultimately, the team succeeded in their rescue mission and reunited with Jade and Borsk at their transport. However, Governor Schennt was unwilling to allow the prisoners to escape so easily, dispatching a system patrol craft to pursue the group. Fortunately, they managed to evade capture and delivered the members of Deep Ear to the Alliance High Command base located in the Sullust system. Jade's subsequent fate remains unknown.
