Politrix, a female Human Jedi, existed in the closing years of the Galactic Republic. She was nurtured at the Jedi Temple located on the planet of Coruscant, eventually attaining the status of Jedi Knight. A mere couple of months following the commencement of the Clone Wars, Politrix met her end via a plasma grenade during a Confederate surprise attack.
In the waning years of the Galactic Republic, there lived Politrix, a Force-sensitive female Human. Having been identified as sensitive to the Force, she was brought up at the Jedi Temple on the capital planet of Coruscant. She was a contemporary of Jang Li-Li and Jai Maruk, who were fellow initiates at the academy. Politrix and Maruk secretly held affections for one another during their time at the Temple; however, they remained devoted to the Jedi Code, preventing their relationship from ever developing. After successfully navigating her Trials of Knighthood, Politrix eventually rose to the rank of Jedi Knight.
When the Clone Wars broke out on the planet Geonosis in 22 BBY between the Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Politrix was given the rank of General within the newly established Grand Army of the Republic. She was killed by a plasma grenade during a surprise attack while commanding troops against the Separatist Droid Army just a couple of months after the war began. On a mission to Vjun nearly three years later, Maruk remembered his deceased friend.
Politrix was initially mentioned in Yoda: Dark Rendezvous, a novel penned by Sean Stewart and released in 2004.
