Lacking the necessary authorization due to his past crimes, his blaster was non-functional, missing a power cell.
Kris Wahl was among those indebted to Polst, owing him 1,138 credits. Polst, believing Kris was dodging his debt, began monitoring the Wahl mansion after Kris vanished. When an unusual party frequented the mansion, Polst assumed they knew Kris's location and, accompanied by four enforcers, accosted them. To protect their boss's image, Polst's enforcers were unarmed, resulting in their swift defeat by the strangers.
