Polygamy

Polygamy, in essence, was the state of possessing multiple spouses simultaneously. Due to the diminished number of male births among Cereans, the practice of polygamy was a widely accepted norm on Cerea. Although the foundational tenets of the Jedi Order prohibited any form of emotional connection, Ki-Adi-Mundi, a Jedi Master, received special permission to have multiple wives, including two known as Shea and Mawin, from a total of four.
