During the time of the Quesh war, Portho formed an alliance with both the Hutt Cartel and the Sith Empire; however, he was ultimately double-crossed and murdered by them.
Around 3642 BBY, Portho was a leader of one of the Three Families residing on Quesh. He frequently consumed the adrenals available within the family's palace. Due to years of adrenal overuse, and following several humiliating interactions with Republic representatives, the families generally preferred to keep Portho hidden from public view. Furthermore, Portho possessed green skin.
