Specialized power generators known as power fence generators were designed to supply energy to the amplifier pylons of a power fence.
Behind the scenes
The canon Star Wars universe first referenced power fence generators in Fully Operational, a 2018 sourcebook from Fantasy Flight Games for the Star Wars: Age of Rebellion roleplaying game. However, their initial appearance was in the Star Wars Legends continuity within The Star Wars Sourcebook, a 1987 sourcebook for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game by West End Games, authored by Bill Slavicsek and Curtis Smith.
