Prakith, a planet of volcanic nature, resided in the Deep Core region of the galaxy. The Byss Run hyperspace route provided a link to both Byss and Empress Teta from this world.
The initial conception of Prakith occurred for Shield of Lies, a Star Wars Legends book authored by Michael P. Kube-McDowell, which was published in 1996. Its canonical status was established when it was shown on a galactic map featured in Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon 36, a periodical from De Agostini that came out in 2015.
