Pretormin Environmental Corporation

Pretormin Environmental was a manufacturer responsible for the creation of the GX-8 water vaporator, a type of moisture vaporator model. This model saw widespread use on Tatooine, a desert planet.

Behind the scenes

The initial conception of Pretormin Environmental occurred within Galladinium's Fantastic Technology. This was a supplementary material for Star Wars Legends Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game by West End Games, which saw its release in 1995. The reference book Ultimate Star Wars, which came out in 2015, established the company as canon. The 2023 reference book Star Wars 100 Objects verified its complete name as Pretormin Environmental Corporation.
