- In this book, the name of the Abyssin species is incorrectly spelled "Abbysin," which author Jason Fry has stated is simply a typographical error.
- It is mentioned that Coruscant has 5217 levels, in contrast to its actual 5127 levels. [3] This was later fixed in subsequent editions.
- Complete Locations asserts that the Delta-7 Aethersprite-class light interceptor was developed as a result of the Invasion of Naboo. However, Star Wars (2015) 26, a comic book set before the Invasion of Naboo, depicts Delta 7s. [4]
- The population of Endor is listed as "Unknown." Previously, Star Wars: Absolutely Everything You Need to Know had stated that it was over 30,000,000 Ewoks. [5]
- The population of Geonosis is stated to be 100 million, whereas Star Wars: Absolutely Everything You Need to Know puts it at 100 billion. [5] Moreover, Complete Locations claims that Geonosis had no population during the Imperial Era. This contradicts the Star Wars Rebels episode " Ghosts of Geonosis," where Klik-Klak, the only survivor of the Galactic Empire's sterilization of Geonosis, is protecting a Queen egg. [6]
- The planet profile for Kashyyyk mistakenly includes an image of Dagobah.
- It is indicated that Lott Dod was present in the archducal box of the Petranaki Arena during the First Battle of Geonosis. Although Episode II identified the Neimoidian as Dod, it is generally believed that the Neimoidian was actually Rune Haako. [7]
- Complete Locations states that Naboo has only one moon, but Mace Windu refers to "spice miners on the moons of Naboo" in Star Wars: Episode II Attack of The Clones. [7] Thrawn: Alliances later clarified that Naboo has three moons. [8]
- It is said that King Ars Veruna reigned for thirteen years. However, Queen's Shadow later established that Naboo's monarchs could only reign for a maximum of four years. [9]
- The book indicates that Yoda's Hut was destroyed by Dagobah's heavy rains following Yoda's death. However, the 2015 reference book Ultimate Star Wars previously stated that the swamp and the creatures Yoda befriended during his exile reclaimed it. [10] When questioned about this, Leland Chee suggested that both accounts could be canonical, explaining that the hut could have been reclaimed immediately after Yoda's death but destroyed a century later. [11]
- It is revealed that Yoda's lightsaber was kept in a box at Yoda's Hut in 3 ABY. However, the comic Darth Vader (2017) 1 suggests that the lightsaber was destroyed in 19 BBY during the celebration of the Jedi Order's eradication. [12] When asked about this, writer Charles Soule speculated that Yoda might have built a new one, had multiple lightsabers, or that Darth Sidious created a fake one for symbolic reasons. [13] Lucasfilm Story Group's Matt Martin clarified that they were aware of the discrepancy, but it wasn't an error because Yoda likely had several lightsabers during his lifetime. [14] The inconsistency was resolved in The Book of Boba Fett episode " Chapter 6: From the Desert Comes a Stranger" with Yoda possessing another lightsaber. [15]
- The book mentions that after C-3PO saw Anakin's lightsaber in Ben Kenobi's home, his programming required him to ask to be shut down to protect his former owner's secrets. Pablo Hidalgo confirmed that this detail was originally intended to be removed from the book. [16]
- Bestine is identified as the closest settlement to Ben Kenobi's home. This is contradicted by a map of Tatooine that is also featured in the book.
