A Priority Bounty represented a particular kind of bounty agreement, specifically one placed on a designated sentient individual. According to the regulations of the Bounty Hunters' Guild, accepting this type of bounty mandated that the bounty hunter immediately cease all other investigations and tasks to focus solely on capturing the specified target. Guild regulations forbade the pursuit of any other bounty the hunter might have accepted; even if other potential targets were easily within reach. As a result, these contracts often came with a very high price tag.
Boba Fett is recorded to have accepted at least one Priority Bounty; this one was commissioned by Durga Besadii Tai targeting the t'landa Til Teroenza, who was responsible for orchestrating the demise of Durga's parent, Aruk. Consequently, while on Ylesia to complete the contract on Teroenza, Fett was restricted from capturing Han Solo and Bria Tharen who were there at the same time, because he still had to deliver the horn of the dead cult leader back to Durga.
