Prosk, a Weequay male, resided on the planet of Makeb and served as a mine foreman. During the Hutt Cartel's attempted take over of Makeb, Prosk enlisted in the Avesta family's militia, aligning with the Galactic Republic to expel the Hutts. Despite his lack of combat experience, Prosk was among the militia members dispatched to rescue Lemda Avesta, a member of the Avesta family who was investigating links between the Hutts and the groundquakes that had been happening since the Hutts got there. However, the militia couldn't reach her because the InterStellar Regulators, a mercenary group employed by the Hutts, forced them back to the Western Camps landing zone on the Frinn Mesa. They defended their position there until a Republic hero came to assist in rescuing Avesta. At that point, Prosk and Lane Ferow, another militia member, welcomed the hero and requested instructions. Before the hero could issue any orders, a Regulator squad assaulted the landing zone, but the militia and the hero repelled them. Prosk and Ferow then shared all available information regarding Lemda and her potential whereabouts with the hero so that she could be saved. Prosk also requested the hero to rescue any captured militia members.
