Droid purifiers were a class of droid crafted by the Iokath people, intended for security duties on their manufactured planet, Iokath. After the Iokath Civil War led to the species' demise, ARIES took control of the Purifier droids, transforming them into hostile combatants that attacked any unauthorized individuals.
