The Iokath Civil War represents a prolonged struggle, spanning centuries, that occurred on the world of Iokath during the Manderon Period.
The inhabitants of Iokath, the species responsible for its construction – a colossal sphere encasing its star – were primarily composed of scientists and engineers. These individuals were dedicated to the creation and refinement of devastating weaponry, conducting tests on unsuspecting populations residing within the Unknown Regions. Among their most formidable creations were the Six Gods, colossal titan battle droids identified as Izax, Scyva, Tyth, Aivela, Esne, and [Nahut]. These constructs underwent trials on four separate planets, resulting in a staggering loss of over ten trillion lives. Ultimately, as is common among organic societies, internal discord arose on Iokath. An act of sabotage triggered a massive explosion within the pressurized gas system of the pneumatic tram, resulting in the deaths of thousands and the destruction of a nearby settlement.
This incident ignited the Iokath Civil War, a conflict that raged for centuries, with both factions wielding numerous superweapons capable of mass destruction. In a desperate attempt at self-preservation, Iokath's engineers dispatched many of their creations, including the Eternal Fleet, the GEMINI droids, and SCORPIO artificial intelligence, into Wild Space with their memory cores locked to prevent their return. However, this measure proved only a temporary reprieve, as the Six Gods were eventually unleashed upon Iokath, leading to the complete annihilation of all organic life on the planet. Following the war, only one self-aware droid remained on Iokath: ARIES, who enslaved other droids to rebuild the world according to his vision.
