Purpsh, a male Vagaari from the Vagaari species, was part of a group that included Supreme Commander Estosh, General Bearsh, and one additional Vagaari. This group, all disguised as Geroons, participated in an infiltration operation targeting a Chiss mission situated at the Redoubt in 22 ABY. The objective was to infiltrate the Vagaari Empire. While Estosh engaged in conversation with the impostor New Republic Ambassador Dean Jinzler, Purpsh secretly installed a recording device within the navigational systems of the Chiss diplomatic vessel, the Chaf Envoy. This ensured Jinzler remained unaware of Purpsh's activities. Following the Vagaari's clandestine entry into the remains of the Outbound Flight colony starship at the Redoubt, and after Chiss Aristocra Chaf'orm'bintrano "Formbi" shot the third Vagaari intruder, Bearsh revealed their true Vagaari identities. Moreover, the general informed Jinzler that Purpsh desired to eliminate everyone in a conference room, but allowed the Chiss and ambassador to choose their demise: either by a wolvkil's assault, proximity to several schostri, or Purpsh's preferred method.
