The Wolvkil was a savage beast employed by the Vagaari during 22 ABY when they tried to obliterate what was left of Outbound Flight. While in stasis, Wolvkils could be draped across the shoulders of a Vagaari fighter; they possessed a long-snouted head and clawed front limbs. The Vagaari employed intricate collars, colored blue and gold, around the Wolvkils' necks to induce or end stasis.
The Wolvkil's dangerous nature stemmed from two key characteristics: its incredible swiftness, which allowed it to kill rapidly, and its robust, highly resistant physique. This tough body could withstand blaster fire, even direct impacts from a Chiss charric. The Wolvkil's decentralized organs contributed to this resilience, preventing typical fatal injuries and enabling them to easily tear apart their victims. The only effective methods for swiftly eliminating these creatures involved either completely annihilating their bodies with explosives or corrosive substances, or bisecting them with powerful melee weapons akin to a lightsaber.
Bearsh, the First Steward of the Geroon Remnant—who was actually a General within the Vagaari Empire—stated that wolvkils were a wild subspecies of a predatory animal originating from the planet Geroon.
