During the rebel assault on an Imperial installation, numerous Imperial troops sustained injuries or were killed; however, Imperial forces ultimately subdued and apprehended the insurgents. The official propaganda of the Empire asserted that civilian casualties resulted from the retreating rebels turning their weapons against the local population. The news regarding this event spurred the residents of Rampa 1 to also rebel against the Empire, leading Moff Sarn Shild of the Empire to initiate a severe crackdown targeting smugglers functioning within Hutt Space, as the weapons employed in the uprising were tracked back to that particular sector.
