Raol, a freedom fighter hailing from Jazbinan, fought for the Rebel Alliance and shared a romantic connection with the Princess known as Syayna.
Alongside Luke Skywalker, Raol provided assistance during the conflict against Darth Vader and his stormtroopers which took place on Jazbina. Initially, he harbored feelings of envy towards Luke, believing he was attempting to steal Syayna's affections.
