This occurred during the Galactic Empire's reign, following Jettster's rescue of a cyborg worker from a Crimson Dawn ore hub. While there, he enjoyed a beverage with the hunter Tyro Viveca, leaving his belongings unguarded when he went to the latrine. Viveca then seized the chance to steal the book that would eventually be titled the Smuggler's Guide from Jettster, subsequently departing Athus Klee for the planet Kashyyyk.
