Rashh was a defiant captain of a transport who associated with Jedi Master Darrin Arkanian. Following Arkanian's rescue of his apprentice, Corwin Shelvay, from High Inquisitor Tremayne, the two attempted to link up with Rashh to flee Coruscant. However, Tremayne caught up with them before they could rendezvous with Rassh, and he murdered Arkanian. Shelvay managed to overcome the High Inquisitor and make his escape.
By 37 GrS, Rashh had risen to the rank of captain on a bulk freighter. He altered five Hatchling maintenance droids, swapping out a tool attachment point for a potent blaster unit, enabling them to function as both repair and security units. He considered them to be a budget-friendly and adaptable droid, a sentiment he shared in version 4.7.1 of Cynabar's Droid Datalog.
