Reconnaissance of mercenary base

After a band of soldiers of fortune disrupted a summit between the forces of the Rebel Alliance and the Bothan intelligence network, the Alliance sought to pinpoint the location of the perpetrators of the assault. Utilizing data extracted from a sellsword apprehended during the conflict, the Alliance initiated a clandestine investigation with the goal of finding the mercenary headquarters. The Alliance leadership then reached out to Aeron Azzameen, a civilian, and her brother Ace, an accomplished fighter craft aviator within the ranks of the Alliance Fleet, tasking them with conducting a reconnaissance mission. The Azzameen siblings accepted the assignment and departed aboard their vessel, the YT-2000 small freighter named Otana, to pursue the lead provided by the captured mercenary: the Neutron Star-class bulk cruiser known as Redhawk, docked at the commercial orbital station Cargo Station_.

Upon the Otana's arrival, Aeron commenced computer hacking of the capital ship's flight computer. Discovering a set of spatial coordinates, the Azzameens departed the system and engaged faster-than-light travel, heading towards the saved location of the Redhawk. However, the coordinates proved to be fabricated, and the Otana emerged from hyperspace within an Imperial weapons proving ground situated in the Carida system, amidst a live-fire exercise. The family's repair droid MK-09 worked to calculate an escape trajectory, while Ace skillfully piloted the transport ship to evade the barrage of incoming laser cannon fire. Eventually, a set of valid return coordinates was located, and the Azzameens returned to Cargo Station. There, they discovered that the Redhawk had already left, but they were able to discern the large cruiser's intended destination by infiltrating the station's data logs. Armed with this new information, the Otana once again jumped into hyperspace, this time bound for the Redhawk's actual destination.

Upon their arrival, the Azzameens were astonished to discover that the Redhawk had led them back to their own home, Azzameen Station. The station, now renamed Falcon's Nest, had previously been seized by the Imperial forces following a series of conflicts between the family and their Imperial-sympathizing rivals, Viraxo Industries, before being handed over to the mercenary group that presently occupied it. Although Ace was eager to confront the mercenaries, the other occupants of the Otana persuaded the pilot to instead return to the Alliance Mon Calamari Cruiser Liberty, where a well-planned assault could be formulated. Shortly after their return with this crucial information, the Alliance, together with the Azzameen family, launched an offensive against Falcon's Nest, resulting in the defeat of the mercenary group and the restoration of the station to the Azzameens.
