The Quesoth [Queen of the Red]'s seat of power was the Red City, a city situated on the planet of Quethold, south of the Dreaming Waters. In the year 8 ABY, Nuso Esva, an alien warlord, journeyed to the Red City and brokered an agreement with the Queen. He pledged to assist her in deposing the Queen of the White, the designated successor to the Queen of the Red as the ruler of Quethold. Esva enticed the Empire of the Hand into attacking the Red City, intending to vanquish the Imperials and seize some of their juggernauts. Nevertheless, the Imperials triumphed, capturing the Red City and defeating both Esva and the Quesoth.
