Reefa Been was a female Human who existed during the era of the Galactic Civil War. After the Battle of Yavin in 0 BBY, the Gungan named Rep Been gave a spacer the mission of finding Reefa Been, who was located in the Naboo countryside, and then bringing her back to Rep Been at the Gungan Sacred Place.
Within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided, Reefa Been was a non-player character. This massively multiplayer online role-playing game was created by Sony Online Entertainment and released by LucasArts, before it was shut down on December 15, 2011.
Reefa Been was generated using the standard "mission_plainsfolk" template, which meant she always appeared as a Human female. Because Reefa Been was part of Rep Been's questline, it's uncertain whether she was initially meant to be a Gungan related to him. However, because Rep Been's quest dialogue had issues, Reefa's physical traits were never mentioned. As a result, this article considers the Human female representation of Reefa to be canon in the Star Wars Legends timeline, and the "Been" surname as purely a coincidence. At some point after the game's release, the questline involving Reefa was removed.
