Rell, a scout trooper within the Galactic Empire's Theta Squad, met his end on the forest moon of Endor. He and his fellow Theta Squad members were ambushed by rebels, resulting in their deaths. After being declared missing, a search ensued, culminating in Gamma Squad discovering their remains.
