The Remplish constituted a clan originally hailing from the planet of Sullust. Following an extended sacred conflict on Sullust, they were banished from their homeworld. A significant portion of this clan eventually found their way to Ord Mantell and Gamorr. During their time in these locations, they typically managed frontier outposts, toll stations, spaceports, and effectively controlled nearly all fuel depots on Gamorr. An example of this is Hepmaga MiOrd, who established a hunting enterprise in the remote wastelands of Gamorr.
Jess Lackaff, a Star Wars enthusiast, conceived the Remplish to provide a history for their Hepmaga MiOrd contribution to the Design An Alien competition featured in the Star Wars Galaxy Magazines.
