The operation to liberate Princess Leia was a quest led by Obi-Wan Kenobi, a Jedi Master, and Hidden Path during the Imperial Era. Its purpose was to free Leia Organa, a Princess and member of the Path, from the clutches of the Third Sister. Leia had been captured and taken to Nur, where the Fortress Inquisitorius was located. This occurred after the Third Sister discovered Kenobi and Organa on Mapuzo. The Third Sister's interrogation of Leia proved fruitless in extracting information regarding the Path, a network aiding Jedi supporters. Simultaneously, Kenobi, aided by Imperial Captain Tala Durith, managed to sneak into the Fortress Inquisitorius with the aim of rescuing Leia.
