Rigby, a Human male, held the rank of commander within the Imperial Guard. He fought in the Galactic War, the conflict between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. During the battle of Corellia in 3640 BBY, Rigby spearheaded a military operation to seize control of the Daoba Hotel, located in Coronet City. He and his unit took numerous civilians as hostages, holding them captive for days while emplacing heavy weaponry on the hotel's roof. Ultimately, his scheme was unsuccessful, resulting in his death and the death of his unit at the hands of Jedi forces and military personnel, which led to the liberation of the hostages.
