Rima held the position of the initial planet within the Demar system. Due to its proximity to the system's star, it existed as an uninhabitable, extremely hot rocky sphere. Despite the fact that the Lant Mining Corporation possessed ownership of the whole Demar system, Rima was never subjected to mining operations because of the limited availability of resources and the challenges associated with operating in such close proximity to the supergiant star.
