The Rrhr hunting band comprised a group of Tusken Raiders originating from the desert planet of Tatooine. Around 22 BBY, they had established a settlement within the Valley of the Spirits. During that same year, the members of this clan faced annihilation at the hands of a young Jedi named Anakin Skywalker. This act of violence was a response to the clan's capture, as well as the subsequent torment that led to the demise of his mother. Only one individual, KkH'Oar'Rrhr, managed to survive the slaughter, and he pledged to exact vengeance upon Skywalker. For the subsequent three decades, the location of the massacre remained untouched.
The Rrhr hunting band represented a tribal society of Tusken Raiders, the nomadic inhabitants of Tatooine. Similar to all Tusken Raiders, the Rrhr clansmen adhered to a nomadic lifestyle. Their existence involved traversing the arid landscapes throughout the majority of the year, and establishing temporary encampments during the scorching season, erecting their urtya structures within the desolate expanses. While certain tribes utilized sand-repelling capsules worn around their necks, the Rrhr members solely adorned themselves with scarves. Furthermore, their masks incorporated spitters, enabling them to shower their adversaries with jets of blood during assaults.

In the month preceding the commencement of the Clone Wars in 22 BBY, the Rrhr had established a settlement within the Valley of the Spirits, a region situated in the Jundland Wastes recognized as a Tusken hunting ground. Around this time, they abducted Shmi Skywalker Lars, a Human colonist residing on the planet, while she was gathering vaporator mushrooms en route to her residence. Anakin Skywalker, Skywalker Lars's son and a troubled Jedi Apprentice, followed the Rrhr's trail and located their camp, driven by the hope of rescuing his parent. Regrettably, she passed away in his embrace, plunging the young man into a vortex of grief and animosity. In response, Skywalker emerged from the tent where he had found his mother and slaughtered every member of the Rrhr hunting band, including the women and the children. Everyone was killed, with the exception of the young KkH'Oar'Rrhr, who survived due to his absence while bonding with his bantha that night.
Subsequently, KkH'Oar'Rrhr was adopted into A'Sharad Hett's clan, and Skywalker became known as the "Demon Outlander" among the Tuskens. Posthumously, Shmi Skywalker, the Rrhr's captive, was also branded as a sorceress and the partner of the demonic Great Jawenko. For his part, KkH'Oar'Rrhr vowed to avenge his family, embarking on a journey that eventually led him to Shumari. The village itself was preserved in its desolate state to honor the Rrhr Tuskens who had perished there, and its remnants remained visible by 8 ABY.
