Rufar, a lieutenant in the service of the Galactic Republic, was a male Human who participated in the Galactic War against the reconstituted Sith Empire.
Rufar saw action in the Battle of Corellia in 3640 BBY, opposing Imperial troops. Following the Republic's successful capture of Axial Park under the leadership of General Aves, Rufar spearheaded his unit's effort to retake the Cross of Glory Walk. This memorial path, situated within the Leisure Garden, paid tribute to the heroic figures of the Jedi Civil War. Unfortunately, Mandalorian rocket troopers, deployed by the Empire, ambushed Rufar and his unit, dealing a significant blow to the Republic's spirit. Injured, Rufar was transported to the nearest Republic base to recover. From there, he persuaded a Republic hero to complete his task and revive the diminishing morale.
