Rylon held the rank of sergeant within the Imperial military and found himself posted to Jakku in the time leading up to the pivotal Battle of Jakku. As part of the forces redeployed to the desolate desert world by the directives of Counselor to the Empire Gallius Rax, Rylon took disciplinary action against stormtrooper RK-242 after the trooper expressed his desire to leave Jakku.
