RZ7-6113-23 base, a Galactic Empire installation, was situated on the planetoid designated RZ7-6113-23. Later, the Restored Empire utilized it as their clandestine, improvised headquarters.
In the year 13 ABY, the New Republic vessel, the Dauntless-class heavy cruiser named Endor, was on patrol in the vicinity and intercepted a pair of TIE/sr starfighters. The Endor attempted to pursue these starfighters, only to be lured into a trap. A cannon positioned on the surface of the base, capable of firing into space, unleashed an attack that resulted in the destruction of the New Republic vessel.
Not long after this event, another New Republic starship, an MC80 Liberty type Star Cruiser under the command of Lar Ndigo, entered the system to investigate the unexplained disappearance of the Endor. The base's cannon commenced firing, nearly obliterating the New Republic vessel; only Ndigo's prompt order to raise the shields at the last possible moment prevented its destruction. The base dispatched three Nimbus starfighters as preparations were made to fire the cannon again. The New Republic ship responded by launching its complement of A-wings, which led to a brief dogfight. Following the A-wings' victory, the New Republic ship directed its fire upon the base, successfully destroying the cannon before it could unleash a second volley.
