S7, situated on the southern hemisphere of the Death Star, a colossal battle station constructed by the Galactic Empire, was one of a dozen zones of identical size. Similar to the other hemispheres, numbering twenty-three, on the space station, this zone encompassed 31.4 kilometers along the Death Star's perimeter, was overseen from a bridge, and housed multiple sectors each assigned specific functions. The Death Star, inclusive of zone S7, met its end in 0 BBY. Zone S7 shared boundaries with zones S6 and S8.
