Sanda

Sanda was a criminal of the Human species and of female gender, as per galactic records. She possessed ginger-colored hair and was the ringleader, alongside Lemo, of a criminal gang of thugs.

Biography

In 3 ABY, Sanda and her fellow gang members found themselves marooned on the planetary surface of Arcan IV. During this time, she expressed regret that Han Solo, her previous associate, had been captured by the bounty hunter known as Boba Fett. Her regret stemmed from her own desire to claim the bounty placed on Solo's head. Sanda, along with Lemo and their crew, were at that moment plotting a highly profitable heist, which required the acquisition of the Dancing Goddess and the Mistrel artifacts. Months of unsuccessful searching for these statues led to increasing frustration within the group. A potential solution presented itself when a man identifying himself as Captain Drebble appeared, suggesting that Han Solo could assist in locating the missing figures. However, this individual was actually Lando Calrissian, impersonating his long-time adversary Barpotomous Drebble, in an attempt to extract information from the criminals regarding Solo's whereabouts. While he succeeded in this endeavor, he inadvertently revealed his true connection to Solo. Subsequently, Sanda, Lemo, and their associates attempted to eliminate Lando Calrissian and Chewbacca, who was escorting him. The pair managed to escape using a glider, which ultimately crashed due to a traffic incident. They were then approached by a gang member named Dafi, who revealed that Calrissian possessed the Mistrel, having won both statues in a card game some time prior. Upon Sanda, Lemo, and the others' arrival, Dafi betrayed them and opened fire, seeking to keep the Mistrel for herself. Sanda and Lemo survived the ordeal and managed to secure the Mistrel, but Calrissian and Chewbacca escaped in the chaos.

Not long after the battle of Endor, Sanda, Lemo, and their gang, still in pursuit of the Dancing Goddess, encountered Han Solo, Lando Calrissian, Chewbacca, and the real Drebble on the planet Keyorin. Sanda and Lemo were successful in capturing Solo and Chewbacca. They subsequently interrogated their captives within their hideout, seeking information about the location of the Dancing Goddess. Solo claimed that Drebble was the current owner of the coveted statue. Sanda, Lemo, and the majority of their gang then proceeded to the spaceport, where Drebble was located aboard his ship, the Cobra, along with his crew and his old rival Calrissian. However, they unknowingly walked into a trap set by Drebble and Calrissian, who had managed to form an alliance. Upon realizing that they were surrounded by Drebble's forces and that escape was impossible, Sanda made the decision to surrender. Ultimately, she and Lemo were forced to witness Calrissian handing over the Dancing Goddess to Drebble.
