A pirate known as Drebble was associated with the bounty hunter Tirog, GT-9R, Tirog's protocol droid, and a young individual who called himself "Ace."
Once, Drebble, along with Tirog, Ace, and GT-9R, made a visit to an open-air market located on a planet illuminated by a brilliantly blue sun. During this particular visit, they were confronted by a gambler, who was accompanied by a pair of armed enforcers, and who had been pursuing the group for a while. When the gambler and his associates began shooting at the quartet, Drebble was indecisive, and he neither returned fire nor sought shelter.
Drebble often found himself attempting repairs on starships or droids, frequently in urgent situations. On one occasion, he was forced to repair a power coupling on Tirog's vessel at an accelerated pace to facilitate their rapid departure from the planet. He encountered a similar predicament at another point in time, when trying to repair a ship that belonged to another bounty hunter by the name of Thannik.
At some point in his life, Drebble became familiar with a distinctive greeting used by Sullustans when they were meeting with acquaintances.
Drebble is a character featured in "Tirog's Story," a series of examples of gameplay found in Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game, Second Edition. In "Tirog's Story," his player is identified as "Steve." Drebble's strange lack of action during the shootout in the marketplace stems from Steve's hesitation when the Gamemaster (Bill) inquired about Drebble's actions.
Drebble also makes appearances in several other examples illustrating skill usage within the rulebook. His return in Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game, Second Edition, Revised and Expanded, where he attempts to repair Thannik's ship, is nearly identical to a passage in the previous rulebook where Drebble is working on Tirog's ship.
If Drebble's statistics are derived from the "Cyborged Pirate" character template present in the second edition rulebook, Drebble is a Human who possesses a cybernetic left arm. He is described as dressing in flamboyant attire, adorned with various pieces of ostentatious jewelry, and carrying a blaster pistol. He is also the owner of a comlink, a vacuum suit, and potentially possesses up to 2000 credits in currency and other equipment.
