Scamp's father

Scamp's progenitor was the patriarch of a sizable family residing in the impoverished districts of the world of Solay. A cruel and tyrannical figure, he frequently resorted to physical violence against his offspring, striking them seemingly at random, simply for being present in his vicinity. Consequently, his family lived in constant fear of him, habitually dispersing whenever he entered a room. This man instructed his children in the art of theft, with Scamp, one of his eldest, emerging as his most accomplished pupil. Despite Scamp's success in acquiring substantial quantities of stolen merchandise, his father remained perpetually dissatisfied, constantly criticizing Scamp for failing to procure even greater amounts.

AbusiveFather Scamp's father strikes one of his children. In the vicinity of 4 ABY, Scamp's father observed Luke Skywalker and his son arriving in the slums, bearing a collection of pilfered items. Scamp's father scrutinized the stolen goods, asserting that Scamp's thieving skills must have deteriorated, given the relatively meager quantity of loot they had acquired. Skywalker attempted to intervene, but Scamp prevented him from doing so. Shortly thereafter, the pair departed from the man's dwelling.
