The Sd-77 sonic pistol, a product of Pacnorval Defense Systems, Limited, was a weapon designed for ranged combat. This sonic pistol emitted a broad burst of extremely powerful sound vibrations, capable of either destroying tangible items or incapacitating a sentient being.
The Sd-77 saw widespread use by private security organizations, notably Santhe Security. In addition to the pistol, Pacnorval also manufactured a rifle version with greater size, known as the Sg-82 sonic rifle.
