Seatree
Seatrees were a type of vegetable lifeform, specifically a species, originating from the aquatic planet of Dac.
These plants, aptly named seatrees, were underwater woody plants characterized by a central trunk and a well-defined crown. Their bark was supple and resembled leather, and they possessed leathery fronds adorned with red and blue veins. Furthermore, they featured air-filled, fruit-like bladders that maintained buoyancy, keeping their tops afloat. The fronds created extensive underwater networks utilized by various animals as nests, and by some intelligent indigenous populations as storage areas.
The primary seatree forest on Dac was the Mkbuto Seatree Preserve, located along the equator. This expansive forest stretched for hundreds of kilometers, playing a vital role in the local ecosystem. Neither Mon Calamaris nor Quarrens tended to inhabit this region, due to its location along the boundary of two tectonic plates and its status as a sacred site.
