The Seelas were Aramandi individuals who refused to accept the revised understanding of the Eeronon. Throughout a significant portion of Aramandi history, they maintained the conviction that they were the sole sentient species in the galaxy, a notion bolstered by their specific reading of the Eeronon. Upon their initial encounter with scouts dispatched by the Lant Mining Corporation, the Aramandi underwent a period of societal and spiritual upheaval as they grappled with integrating these novel realities with their revered scriptures. Scholars together with priests ultimately proclaimed that the earlier understanding was inaccurate and that the Eeronon had, in fact, always alluded to the presence of beings from other worlds, but until that moment, they lacked the necessary insight to comprehend it. With the revelation of this fresh interpretation of the Eeronon, certain Aramandi vehemently opposed it, dismissing it as falsehoods. The most dissatisfied among them became known as the "Seelas," which translates to "the rejectors." These individuals separated themselves from Aramandi society, relocating to the unpopulated regions of the Aramand system, and subsequently venturing entirely beyond into the Aramand Cluster as religious oppression intensified. In time, the Seelas dispersed into the broader Brak sector and even further afield. Seelas seldom made their way back to the Aramand Cluster, and upon their rare returns, they faced treatment as pariahs.
