Sele (Cathar)

Sele was a Cathar of the male variety, and he held the position of leader among the bodyguards serving the criminal syndicate led by Spa Fon. As a symbol of his status as his clan's most powerful warrior, he adorned himself with a silver diadem featuring a solitary mangana aqua cabochon. On Fon's command, he engaged in combat with the ex-Jedi Jax Pavan. Despite his considerable combat skills, he was outmatched by Pavan and ultimately yielded.

Biography

Recognized throughout the galaxy as a truly exceptional fighter, Sele, a male Cathar, ascended through the ranks of his clan to achieve elite status. He journeyed to the planet of Coruscant, where he accepted employment as a bodyguard and was subsequently enlisted by the criminal figure Spa Fon.

In the year 19 BBY, journalist Den Dhur, accompanied by the former Jedi Jax Pavan, paid a visit to Fon. During this encounter, they challenged Fon regarding a theft and went on to accuse him of the murder of light sculptor Ves Volette. It was at this juncture that Sele was summoned to remove them from the premises, preferably by eliminating them. However, following a brief skirmish, Pavan overpowered Sele, relieving him of his weapon. Upon Pavan's suggestion to surrender, Sele complied and, in accordance with his people's customs, swore fealty to the Jedi. At a later time, Sele provided Pavan with crucial intelligence obtained from a contact, which ultimately resolved the mystery surrounding Volette's murder. With the delivery of this information, Sele fulfilled his ritualistic obligations.
