Seregar, situated in the Outer Rim, was a planet covered in jungle terrain. This world possessed a breathable atmosphere and showcased vibrant green and blue plant life. The flora of the planet included a carnivorous plant, while the ravenbeast served as one example of its native wildlife. Decades before the Battle of Endor, multiple companies conducted mining operations on Seregar. Once the readily available natural resources were depleted, these corporations deserted the jungle planet. Over time, smugglers found their way to the planet, and establishments like the CrossWind Saloon and Cather Taan's Gun Shop in Storrd Township catered to their requirements.
Some years following the departure of the mining corporations from Seregar, the Human bounty hunter and criminal Tern Ashandrik took refuge in an abandoned tolium refinery deep within Seregar's jungle. He orchestrated a scheme to ensnare a fellow bounty hunter who was being sought by the Galactic Empire. Ashandrik manipulated the hunter and their companions into believing that a substantial bounty was placed on his own head. This false information instigated a pursuit through various locations on Seregar, including Storrd Township and Sutloo's Trading Post. The bounty hunter group faced numerous members of Ashandrik's gang and ultimately confronted the criminal in the abandoned refinery, where they triumphed over him.
Located in the Calaron sector of the Outer Rim Territories' Seregar system, Seregar was a planet illuminated by a single sun. From the vantage point of space, it presented a tranquil appearance, featuring turquoise-colored landmasses and blue oceans. Seregar's climate was characterized as hot and humid. The environment surrounding the settlement of Storrd Township was dominated by a sprawling jungle abundant with green and blue vegetation, including towering trees, winding vines, and creeping plants. A carnivorous plant thrived within a deep pit filled with viscous liquid, feeding off the remains of any creatures that became trapped within. Seregar also served as the habitat for ravenbeasts, large, two-legged predators distinguished by their violet fur and prominent horns.
Littrium and tolium extraction was conducted on Seregar by several corporations, including Trigdale Metallurgy, in the years leading up to the Battle of Endor. When these mined resources were depleted, the corporations abandoned Seregar. In the following years, the jungle planet gradually evolved into a convenient stopping point for smugglers, leading to a resurgence in starship traffic to the planet. During this time, the Human male bounty hunter Tern Ashandrik and his gang began to frequent Seregar.

Years after the corporate exodus from Seregar, a group of bounty hunters, including one pursued by the Galactic Empire, encountered the licensed expediter Jerik Snivas at the Tallifax Inn aboard the Kwenn Space Station. Snivas informed the group about a recent bounty supposedly placed on Ashandrik by TaggeCo., adding that the criminal was hiding somewhere on Seregar. After striking a deal with Snivas to delay the bounty posting in exchange for credits, the hunters journeyed to the jungle planet.
After landing their starship in the Storrd Township settlement, the bounty hunters received advice from Ordrin Masst, the Human proprietor of the landing field, to visit the CrossWind Saloon to gather information. Upon entering the Saloon, the Human bartender Lorek identified Tendler Vek, a Human gambler, who offered to provide information on Ashandrik in exchange for a game of sabacc. After winning the game, the bounty hunters learned about the criminal's past visits to Seregar and were informed that Cheln Arroway, a thug present in the Saloon, was a member of Ashandrik's gang.
While observing Arroway to track him, the hunters were approached by Daralla Errine, the Human owner of the Crosswind Saloon, whom Lorek had secretly contacted. Errine sold her information on Ashandrik to the bounty hunters, revealing that he frequented Cather Taan's Gun Shop and had previously dealt with Shesstellek, a Devaronian spice trader also in the Saloon. After questioning Shesstellek about Ashandrik, the Devaronian nervously departed, leading the group to visit Cather Taan's Gun Shop.
At the weapons store, the hunters encountered Zurric Que'stiil, a Human Rebel saboteur, and eventually received directions from the store's owner, Cather Taan, to a former hideout of Ashandrik's in an abandoned part of Storrd Township. There, the bounty hunter group encountered Arroway, who attempted to escape on a speeder bike, prompting the hunters to pursue him in their own speeder. After a chase through a derelict construction site, Arroway led the group into an old rock quarry, where they were ambushed by the Marauders, a local swoop gang hired by Neechak, a Rodian gunrunner and member of Ashandrik's gang. After defeating the Marauders, the bounty hunters discovered Neechak's current location.
While en route to the Callamvor Hotel, where Neechak was staying, the hunters were approached by Lliandri, a Twi'lek female bounty hunter, who joined their hunt for Ashandrik, supposedly for personal reasons. Together, the group visited the hotel, only to find that Neechak had been murdered in his room. A search of the apartment revealed a clue pointing to an abandoned Trigdale Metallurgy tolium refinery. The bounty hunter group then trekked through the jungle toward the refinery, enduring a ravenbeast ambush and encountering a carnivorous plant along the way.

Upon reaching the Trigdale refinery, the bounty hunters quickly realized the facility was too vast to locate Ashandrik without more specific directions, forcing them to return to Storrd Township. While settling in for the night, the group was approached by Shesstellek, who offered information on Ashandrik in exchange for credits needed to leave the planet. Once paid, the spice merchant revealed that Ashandrik's gang regularly purchased supplies at Sutloo's Trading Post, located outside Storrd Township. The hunters visited the trading post and, the following morning, confronted Gorrul Wyke, a Human member of Ashandrik's gang who had arrived for supplies. After being defeated, Wyke revealed Ashandrik's hiding place within the refinery.
Arriving at the Trigdale refinery, the bounty hunter group followed Wyke's directions toward Ashandrik's supposed location but were ambushed by Ashandrik and his forces. When Lliandri turned against the group, the hunters realized the entire hunt had been a trap orchestrated by Ashandrik to capture them. The bounty hunters then battled Lliandri, Ashandrik, and the other criminals, ultimately defeating them.
Years before the Battle of Endor, several mining corporations maintained a presence on Seregar; the original settlers of the planet included the Human Sutloo. After the corporations abandoned the jungle world, it became nearly deserted; however, over the years Seregar began to attract a population consisting mostly of smugglers or individuals catering to smugglers' needs. During this time, the planet became home to members of several species, including Humans, Klatooinians, Rodians, and Whiphids. The Seregan inhabitants spoke Galactic Basic Standard.
Seregar was dotted with numerous mining stations within the jungle, which became overgrown after the mining corporations left the planet. The Trigdale Metallurgy consortium had constructed a tolium refinery a few kilometers from Storrd Township. The refinery was a sprawling complex of corroded pipes, dark and narrow corridors, expansive processing rooms, and numerous catwalks. The processing plant also featured several landing bays for repulsorlift vehicles, including Bay 45-A15, which provided access to Tern Ashandrik's hiding place on one of the refinery's main levels.

Sutloo's Trading Post was another notable Seregan location situated outside of Storrd Township. Located three kilometers from the settlement, it was a wooden structure built around the trunk of a large, blue tree, with an adjacent area of the jungle cleared to serve as a landing strip. The trading post was operated by the Human Sutloo, who sold supplies like food, power cells, and camping equipment to those seeking to avoid shopping in Storrd Township.
Storrd Township, the only settlement on Seregar with a landing field, was a small city during the planet's mining heyday. After the corporations departed, many buildings in Storrd Township became vacant, leading to abandoned and derelict sections. One such dilapidated neighborhood housed a structure with a comm unit, which Cheln Arroway used to contact Ashandrik's gang.
The more populated and well-maintained areas were situated closer to Storrd Township's landing field, which could accommodate at least seven small freighters and was adjacent to a large building serving as both a control tower and a repair facility. The landing field was managed by the Human Ordrin Masst, while his sons, Burdek and Nofft, operated the repair facility. The Callamvor Hotel was located near the landing field, and the Rodian Neechak stayed there in room 3-12 until his murder.
The center of Storrd Township featured two prominent buildings: the CrossWind Saloon and Cather Taan's Gun Shop. The CrossWind Saloon, a bustling hub for business and recreation, was a large, two-story wooden building owned by Daralla Errine. Its main floor housed a bar, and the card game sabacc was played by patrons at a corner table. The establishment was frequented by members of various species, including Humans and Jawas, and employed Klatooinian bouncers. Cather Taan's Gun Shop was a small, windowless building with a single door. Operated by Cather Taan, the store offered a wide selection of weapons for purchase.
Seregar was conceived for the West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game adventure "Seregar Turnabout," authored by Christopher John Parks and published in the 1997 sourcebook No Disintegrations. The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Seregar system, and thus the planet itself, in grid square U-9.
