A serum was developed as a countermeasure to a dormant virus originating from the Galactic Empire. This antidote, administered via a pink hypodermic needle, could be obtained in Panna City situated on the moon of Panna Prime. The bounty hunter known as Boba Fett possessed knowledge of both the virus's existence and the serum's location. During the period of the Galactic Civil War spanning from 0.5 ABY to 1 ABY, Alliance protagonists Luke Skywalker and Han Solo contracted the virus as part of an Imperial scheme. To survive, Chewbacca, Solo's co-pilot, was forced to suspend them upside down within the confines of the Millennium Falcon. Fett, feigning allegiance to uncover the Rebel base's location for the Empire, volunteered to acquire the serum from Panna City. After swiftly locating the serum, Fett delayed its purchase, choosing instead to communicate his progress to Darth Vader. The serum was then given to Solo and Skywalker by Fett, who were initially disoriented from their revival. However, the bounty hunter's true intentions were revealed by the droids C-3PO and R2-D2.
